One issue is the bad folks out there that will buy these terrible properties and them sell them to un suspecting forigners who then get blamed for not maintaining their props.. when in fact they got swindled... :) but when your talking about 20 to 30k houses being over priced and no value then your talking about the worse of the worse in housing stock.. and I am sure these are ghetto type locations. or war zones.

They didn't swindle you or anything. 

Bottom line I got kind of swindled out of my money and the guy who said he was the general contractor is now in jail without bond.

The state wants consumers to have protection against unethical operators who would swindle them out of their equity.By the way, unlicensed real estate brokering / wholesaling lights a couple of different fuses you should be aware of.  

Uncommon, but some people have leased when they thought they'd bought (automobiles) or even swindled and with a signed contract you are bound to the terms.

This way it doesnt come across as you just trying to swindle him but as a fair compromise because he thought he had more than he actually did.

Coming from the northeast our real estate will probably feel “cheap” but don’t let that swindle you into over paying or buying a subpar deal.By far I would recommend building a good team ESPECIALLY because you are out of the area.

you do that they keep it then the bank tells you their wire was never any good and your just got swindled.. 

I've heard about the 90's, I've heard about SNL's - have had some great fraud speakers and heard some of the greatest swindles around..

I just wanted to make sure i was not being swindled by a fly by night outfit.Also, there is NOWHERE in writing stating i cannot repair my personal vehicles on the property, this is why i questioned.
