This is a unique home and it actually has a full kitchen, 2 bed and 1 bath downstairs and I think it might be well suited as a very large vacation rental(entire home) or both floors being rented separately at some point in time.  

Or buy a 5bed/3bath house, live in the primary suite and rent the other spaces out.

Like someone else said better to buy land that is already suited for use. 

And of course other states are following suit.. 

I double checked and these layouts do have two exit doors for both primary and the next gen suite as well.

Do some research to figure out what type of property—long-term rental (LTR) or short-term rental (STR)—best suits your goals.

I was made to think "if you've put this much time, money, and effort into perfecting the development of secondary suites into SFR's, why would you move your focus onto another strategy?"

By year 5 we had around 55 people.We did hire a marketing person but frankly marketing wasn't our strong suit.

They will also make a rock bottom swimming hole in the stream.
