I have a 4 car detached garage at my property and I rent out all the bays for storage use.

In my case, I have residential rentals in one LLC, commercial properties in another, self storage in a third, and my real estate company operates in a fourth.

Apartment buildings, assisted living facilities, self storage, restaurants... 

Self storage which is our Longterm cash flow.  

I always make sure to put an extra one under a bed or storage inside so if it goes out, I can tell the guest where to find a new one.
