Sometimes the quotes I received were much higher than what I found on my own   Why should they keep the security deposit?  

I didn't have enough space in the Title:Novations where the investor uses a Limited Listing that puts them as the primary contact for scheduling showings, receiving/accepting offers and negotiating are brokering without a license.Novations where the investor actually hires a real estate broker to handle the aforementioned for the seller are not included. 

Fast forward to the end of today and we still haven't received a signed document, so my agent had to send over a letter of termination to protect my deposit. 

What kind of monthly costs should I be expecting, and what kind of value/tools should I expect to receive for those costs?

I do understand being selective on the type of buisness you take, but as an agent we still have a fiduciary duty to our clients to make sure they receive the level of service this price requires.
