It's still a good market for long term rentals but the returns are not what they were 10 years ago - but if you can get past overly optimistic suggested ROI, it's a really solid market.

And that's arguably an optimistic take.

If we had gone with more optimistic assumptions then it would have been a very disappointing year financially at least.Every market is unique.

To me - that sounds outrageously optimistic, rather than realistic.

Its hard to be optimistic though when then change things so quickly.

We are all overly optimist about our own knowledge, skills, and abilities (not a lot of people will say they are below average investors, even when they know nothing) AND we overestimate the degree of control we have and underestimate the role chance plays in our future.2.

I'm still optimistic, but will ensure I do my due diligence to protect my investment.
