Any recommendations of a good realtor who understands the needs of an out-of-state investor who works the Lorain area of OH would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Alyssa, I moved from Portland OR to Columbus OH a few years ago to start my REI journey.

Wife and I are coming down from Toronto, Canada and we are looking to network with current investors, PM, RE Agents, etc...I tried finding meet ups in the forum section "Events & Meetups Section" but had no success.Would love to know of any meetups in Ohio in Jan, Feb or March 2025!

I also have multiple tenants in the Ohio market that are part of the voucher program (CMHA & Eden).

I am looking to buy more, my next one will probably be in northern Ohio within the next few months.

I have heard good things about Ohio, Indiana, etc.5 - Due to high interest rates flipping has become highly risky and most businesses have dried up.6 - Co-living and Assisted living seems to be popular right now.So - really depends on your market, your strategy, and your timeline.

I personally recommend checking Columbus OH - lots of job growth, population growth, and major companies moving and developing here.
