Depending on what list you look at, DC sits at either number 3, 4, or 5 as the most expensive.Furthermore, we (my family and I) do ministry in the Georgetown community (the 20007 zip code), which is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in one of the most expensive cities.Average rent for a 2-bedroom home is around $3,500.
