You can double your money as a buy and hold Landlord if you buy right and mange smart in many C areas in cities across the rust belt.

Others are more skilled at certain types of transactions and can mange the risk.

I think I can mange the proces with RapidWeaver if I start more than one blog.

Or possibly a Community that looking to hire one to mange their community.I know what to ask a Residential Manager, but what kind of questions or areas of qualification are important in regards to this type of Management company.

If I could find properties close enough to NYC to try to mange myself I would be game for that idea as well!

@Ken Power if you do mange to get loans, without any credit history, you will most likely end up paying a much higher interest.

I self mange with a heavy dose of skilled plumbers and maintenance people. 

One of my old landlords was a full time police officer, and he owned 6 properties that he self-manged.

That said, I am looking for a partner from Indianapolis, IN 46204 to co invest a rental property in Indianapolis with me, so that my partner can mange the property for us on the parts that I cannot do myself like showing etc while I can manage the rest such as drafting rental agreements, rent collection, "pay or vacate" legal actions etc.
