Profit is what insures a business's longevity – if it doesn't make a profit, it might not be in business in six months.

Bonds have the greatest impact on mortgages due to their longevity (10 year) and mortgages are long term as well.

Look for: longevity in business, warranties their work, and a "fair" price (not the cheapest!).
