For me, I guess I don't have that "show me a picture and I will say yes or no" ideology.

It is about cash mgmt for business but it also discusses the ideology and psychological importance of rewarding yourself along the way. 

I understand that comparing homes that share likeness with the prospective property is the basic ideology.

@Jimmy Johnson There's an ideology in the STR investor world that high occupancy does not equal highest return. 

So this ideology of let me build up my llc and show it as having cash by inserting cash into it or by having that llc generate cash uh you're gonna have to have a stabilized income for several years and be able to produce profit and loss statements that get a commercial lender to fund.Your deal okay normally that's going to come in the form of a soft money lender or a soft hard money lender right so this ideology of building a company that is going to be able to eventually borrow money for itself that's possible but not in one of the main streams of the market.

That ideology is what leads to redlining and bigoted business models.

The reason against this is more of an ideological one which-- is that it sounds an awful lot like "living off credit" which I've had an opposition to my whole life and just can't seem to say out loud without getting a cringe.Anyone have a similar situation or any insight about how they handle it? 

I can tell you why: because the Govt via the cities of the community/state you are in have made it clear that they have both the capacity (i.e. votes) and willingness (i.e. political ideology) to say that the free market doesn't apply and your rights and an owner will be limited in at least one major way.Any guesses how that's going to play out down the road?

If the agent did their job creating value, there should be no reason why that client wouldn't work with them again anyhow.Other PMC's we've talked to around the country generally resonate that same ideology, great service > referral fee and PM is too small a margin of business for a high CAC.
