I make a comfortable living doing dentistry and I love being able to help my family and friends with their dental needs but I don't see myself doing it past 50 and I'm 31 right now.

I don’t want to 100% jump into real estate and focus on that  hence why I am pursuing dentistry, but I do like the idea of eventually having a few properties to have that additional income and contribute to to retirement.Maybe I’m crazy but any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Selling Whitening products or doing whitening for people.....something that fits with your dentistry background.

Dentistry seems like a relatively quick route to a six figure salary. 

@Emily Wu I don't know how familiar you are with the University, but East campus is home of the Colleges of Agriculture, Dentistry, and Law.

Dentistry.

My wife and I don’t have kids yet but are trying so hopefully in next few years I have couple kids and can be the dad that picks up and drops his kids off from school or takes them everyday to sports practices without ever missing a day in their life because dentistry prevented me.  

I enjoy many aspects of dentistry and I'm good at it, but I don't intend to be in it for decades.

If you buy single families and attempt to self manage, it's going to take you away from patients and managing your primary moneymaking business of dentistry.
