Heck, the newest thing on the strip is The Cosmopolitan and its owed by Deutsche Bank.

The Cosmopolitan in the Lloyd District will be next.

Either way for my sanity and most importantly, motivation, I have to believe that there are certain conditions that are almost unique to a cosmopolitan city like the City of Angels.

Overall, I think everyone is getting a head start on the hopeful frenzy that might start up in March 2016.On the other hand, a lot of the development that started 10-15 years ago is really starting to pay off, and Sacramento is blossoming into a fairly cosmopolitan city offering similar amenities and lifestyle as the coastal cities.

Are the units nice enough that cosmopolitan professionals would want to live there?  

I'm a condo investor so they can be a good vehicle but they tend to only be good investment vehicles in cosmopolitan areas where the higher rent can offset the condo fee and other expenses that can wipe out any potential profit in lower rent communities.

The last 10 years has changed a lot in Sacramento though, and the city now sports a very cosmopolitan urban environment, so it's now more of a tweener city.

I like to live in cosmopolitan areas where the price / rent ratio is way far from breaking even.

Blackstone Group, a multinational private equity investment firm owns more than 10,000 homes here in Las Vegas as well as many of the Hilton Hotels, Cosmopolitan, and in contract to buy the SLS Hotel and Casino.
