Zac,Not trying to sway your passion, but have you thought about clinic ownership?

Saw the work going on at the Owl's Club/Oak Street clinic and the brick repointing at the apartments.

Lots of people also seem to be turning to MTR vs STR.....I'd look at places near medical centers....Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson...and whatever other giant medical facilities are around that cater to people that aren't always local. 

This could involve creating accessible living spaces that are close to VA hospitals or clinics, community centers, and other veteran support services.

As for the cheaper markets, I would look to do mid term rentals in the Rust Belt near hospitals like the Cleveland clinic to maximize the income to help mitigate the downsides and unexpected expenses associated with those markets.

I know this is historically a rough area but I have heard rumors that is is up and coming with the $$ the Cleveland Clinic is putting into their expansion.

There are probably "free" mental health clinics out there and since the word "free" seems to control your life, it would be appropriate that you find a “free” one.

Hey @Lonnie Perez, if you're considering between other states I would check out Cleveland, OH.A ton of fix and flips and STR/MTR opportunities near the major hospitals and clinics.
