I’m brand new here, got the recommendation to join this site through a book I listened to on the way to work today.

Bigger Pockets is a great place to be, whether you're a seasoned investor or brand new to the REI world.

I tend to find my own properties and deal with the realtors directly but having a realtor if you are brand new to the area, is helpful.
