No it's not as cheap as the Midwest but the appreciation here is starting to rival what we saw in Cali a few decades ago.

Truth is often a bitter pill.  

For you to gain enough experience and talent to be able to rival a real GC would take you a decade.This is like when people want to get a RE license to save money doing flips....ain't gonna happenLike @Joel Forsythe said, this is a myth that perpetuates the industry.

This left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth, but I'm not sure if I approached it in the wrong way. 

You will always have people that are bitter or have a bad taste in their mouth for whatever reasons, but living in Asheville offers opportunities that is not offered anywhere in the world.

It's cheap, one rate for duration of stay which rivals the rate for one day at the local places. 

Glad it did not cause bitterness, and instead gave us all a laugh about just how deep stupidity can get!!

Also agree above not sure $50 late fees are legal but neither was this deal either unless bank crazily actually approved seller paying your full downpayment lol ive never seen that allowed.You seem bitter.
