I was VERY VERY close to buying Spanish almond plots which were "improved" farmland with aquafers, etc. 

I fell in love with the Lowcountry way of life, including good food, beautiful trees with Spanish moss, and stunning golden sunsets.

Hi Randal, one of the problems are the loans, when investing in Spain 20% DP is required at the very least.2nd The majority of the Spanish houses are condos so they all carry HOA fees.3rd Demand is an issue, Spain is losing population due to the crazy high unemployment rate, young people are getting out for better opportunities.

Currently, I am in the process of negotiating another commercial building and an additional industrial warehouse adjacent to my initial investment.Looking forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring potential synergies.

What you will find is that the synergy of your efforts, plus your new “aim” will lead you to something new… in the field you want to be in.

Very few people are geared up to transact in English or Spanish I would expect.  

But, one thing, the language we use in the Whatsapp group is Spanish.

Dirty work, not fun work, but will get you inside a lot of homes, maybe help you learn Spanish, and help reinforce how picky you want to be with tenants.
