Couple quick swipes of the planer, cleaned up the sides to get rid of the bumps, nice and smooth.

It's a different animal than regular residential.

Transcribing transactions from bank statements, posting transactions to the correct accounts, and then manually creating an income statement, statement of owner's equity and a balance sheet is a fairly time consuming process and I have not been able to keep up with the book keeping between my regular work responsibilities.What accounting software do people recommend? 

I still want to have a “regular” career for now, but know I have what it takes to successfully run a business- say in the form of real estate investing.

You have to set them up, market, book and clean. 

If the unit is empty, change the locks, clean it, and get it rented.
