Bummer. he can sell it no problem just cant get title insurance.. so unless your buying it to flip who cares just buy it and enjoy it.. and during that process just sue for quiet title.. take some money and time but that would clear up the title. there is a very prominent BP member that buys tax sale and other title issue props in SC he gets them so cheap because you cant get title insurance at least at the time he buys them and then just rents them out.. its a winner.. no one will ever come back on him or you ..

Then, they double down on winners in Series A, B, etc.

If your numbers are correct, you may have a BIG $ winner here; there’s enough room to spend extra to ensure a problem free transaction, imo.  

I had my attorney file the proper paperwork to redeem the overage, which was recently granted.So I don’t know who you are, but thank you, Ben I would have eventually discovered this but not as early as I did. thats a winner  rare but you will take it right ??

If $160K will put down 20% on a Duplex or better and the rental income is enough to pay 75% or better of the of the full mortgage (PITI) they I think you have a winner.  

I do hope and anticipate that Florida again will be a big winner in migration from other states which Governors are acting like dictators.
