I want to make sure I’m keeping up with appropriate record keeping but with only one property, I’m not sure how to format a cash journal?

We were able to get financing through Legacy Homes, the terms are roughly 10 years with a fixed rate of 7.9% for the first 2 years then Walstreet Journals Prime plus roughly 4% (Kinda pricey after two years potentially), 10% down which covers the home, taxes and transport.I have a third home coming in tomorrow and then I will stagger them out. 

Journalism went extinct as the parasite called marketing-media took it over so we can't trust literally ANYTHING anymore because everything is with some bias.

When I sell the property I make a journal entry to remove it off the balance sheet (see photo attached).

If you are tracking depreciation for purposes of repairs and maintenance (like anticipated timing of a new roof for example), you could probably get away with using excel and then just manually booking a journal entry.

This is reckless journalism. 

I even got a little support from a professor at MIT, who gave me much needed scientific journal access for a few years to pursue my hobby!
