Case law supports him.I don't even know where to begin with a comment like that, other than I suggest you start building a legal defense fund, to deal with that mistaken approach to contracts. 

I've also heard it can be a good thing to have some debt against a property because if any issues arise legally, the bank will be the first line of defense.

When it becomes exploitative as it has with China, it's bad and defensive actions are required.

That kind of thing :)In defense of the dumb, I have been saying we are in a bubble since 2009 but I have been blown by by many investors I think were less qualified bigger egos etc. 

Rules and restrictions, and traps that don't apply to any other kind of businesses, only the rental market.I think this puts the landlord on the defense.
