With regular annual inspections including scheduled spraying for prevention of insects/bed bugs as a former employee of a broker and as a tenant my observation shows 10 years is about the maximum.Personally, in my opinion carpet is highly unhygienic, attracts odors and has a short life compared to hard surfaced floors and it amazes me that it has taken so many years for the trend to switch reflected in more apartment complexes featuring hardwood (I'm in Reno, NV where there has been a surge of bed bugs so this may be a big part of the switch-regular preventive fumigation in addition to that for prior to move-ins and outs is common too.)

I couldn’t imagine the terror of being trapped in a burning car as onlookers desperately try to save you by opening the doors to no avail .

When that happens the smog is then trapped in the valley surrounded by tall mountains and gets so thick that you can't see a half mile as opposed to the dozens I can see today.

I also noted a nearby property was up for sale recently at $970k when I looked up the sales history on zillow it was last sold in 2007 for $940k so lots of possible traps for average joe investor around here.

There are many nasty diseases you can catch from the large populations of insects such as malaria, dengue fever, zika, typhoid, yellow fever, bacterial infections, etc.

One of the items, is a photo of the trap in the kitchen and bath.

The boric acid is also good for ants and other insects (used in integrated pest management I understand).

Hi, BP'ers Looking for an adviseOne of my tenants just told me that the property they have been renting for more than a year, that they started to have mice over the last month, they putted some traps and have caught 3 mice, they are saying still hearing like there are more, and apparently they found some holes in walls.Apparently a neighbor in front have the same problemI reviewed the lease agreement and does not have any term of saying who is responsible for pest control, besides I have expressed verbally since the beginning, tenant is responsible for pest control.
