My husband installed LVP, I painted and restored the stairs, we got new appliances and counter tops.

The bathrooms were renovated a few years ago with new vanities and granite countertops, but the kitchen still has its original countertops and cabinets but comes with stainless steel appliances. 

Will replace with same as above(carpet or fake wood), don't know if thats tacky/wise to do.Now things that could use updating1. the cabinets and counter top kitchen and two bathrooms (good workign condition but is it better to buy used/new or can they be refinished/painted?)

Ebere -- you're saying that kitchen cabinets, vanities, countertops, are personal property?

Is the project in a granite counter top neighborhood?

Do you have bright white painted walls, shinny brass door knobs and fixtures, popcorn ceilings, and a dusty rose colored countertop in the kitchen?

I might just go with tile countertops because I do want a hacienda look as this is what the entire theme of the condo complex is. 

I'm sure some of my properties will be worth $93,000 if I went in and remodel the whole thing and replaced it with granite countertops.

Plus our home is including upgraded appliance and stone counter tops which were not in the plans that the appraiser used, so we're thinking more like $500K. 

I'm in the Bourbonnais, Illinois area and am looking for affordable non-laminate countertops - i.e. granite/quartz/corian types.
