(The previous owners got tagged for this and it trickled down to us having to remedy it after we purchased it back in June.)

All that gets you is zero reports that there is a leak when it's a $4 part instead of a total replacement plus flood damage and mold remediation.

Any violation of this policy will be seen as a breach of this Agreement and Landlord will be entitled to all remedies allowable by law including eviction.f)Motor Vehicles, Parking, Garagesi)Washing vehicles on premises is permitted.ii)Repairing vehicles on premises is NOT permitted.iii)No parking on lawns.g)Waterbeds – may be permitted ONLY with express written permission of Landlord AND with written proof of renter’s insurance covering all damage that may result from waterbed.h)Painting/decorating – Painting is NOT allowed.Decorations may be hung on the walls using 3M Command strips, or small nails that require only moderate spackling to fill once the nail is removed.

I just don’t know what I can or should do to attempt to remedy this situation.

I requested that he remedy the problem.

However that can change if you had an area tested and now needs to be remediated.  

The contractor started remediation the same day and we finished 10 weeks later.I decided early on to follow the current Consumer Product Safety Commision guidelines for remediation.  

I'm assuming that you could remedy the issue with the add-on integrating with the original structure with reframing only the back 1/3 to 1/2 of the home. 

Since seller agreed to remediate mold, they could still be held accountable for this.

More than once I've had a co-signer step in and remedy a situation to protect their own credit.
