@Henry Clark Ok gotcha so you're saying just explain better what nuances there are for specifically investing in Mexico.Well as you may have already discovered for yourself, Mexico is HUGE and is broken up into a bunch of different socioeconomic situations, geographical microclimates and ethnic backgrounds.Veracruz for example where you visited has a huge Lebanese-descendant population and that affects the architecture and cuisine noticeably, it's also Mexico's coffee capitol.

The commercial polices in OH are much more competitively priced than buying a single policy per building.

The police could not handle the volume.

You’re a very lucky person.Unless you have a medical issue or a police record the following plan gets you to over $2mm in 20 years while holding a job and building yourself.  

We are struggling to maintain police officers on the force....but that has more to do with larger political issues than anything. 

At a bare minimum, there would have to be a police report, in which case I would be more likely to evict the guilty party rather than let the victim walk away.Tenant is voluntarily breaking their lease which means they are in violation.

I'm starting things off by calling the local police department to retrieve any information that I can get on the property and its potential tenant/squatter/crack-house manager. 

Its also hard to police whether a tenant has anyone extra living with them and extra people means extra utility cost.
