I'm here to observe and absorb knowledge from you all

Got out of the STR business myself but still in touch with some people who are still having success.In my observation, the only homes where the #'s still pencil out are the larger, more luxury products.

@ Christina AcevedoI agree with Matt, but to get off the ground , perhaps first time out of the gate, you could hire someone, observe their process, but be involved in the final selection process? 

I was simply making an observation and Josh if I have offended you I am sorry I was simply trying to provide reasons why people may lurk.

Also have the observation that the area is slowly improving due to many hoses are getting rehabbed or new are getting constructed. 

I am going to my first auction to observe this week but I wanted to do some research on properties being auctioned that day before I got there.

Also, it's ok if you just go and observer at first.

I have also observed that most duplex/triplex properties in DEN are sold as Bill suggests.

The auctions are open to the public, you should definitely come down at least to observe. 

I agree with @Mike Hepburn a bit with his observations.
