Banks may balk at this, but if you have a business plan showing them the funds are going to be reinvested into the property, they should be thrilled you are reinvesting in their asset.  

You arent talking about investing , you are talking about gambling .

To me, it sounds like a classic alcohol or gambling problem.  

Speculation is just gambling. 

That said, no one can say for sure if and when that might happen.Thoughts on if it's better to put a larger downpayment now to at least breakeven vs. taking a short-term loss on cash flow and take a gamble on being able to refinance sooner rather than later?

But I am not thrilled with them.

To my surprise, a company has expressed interest in renting out one of my units for 1 year to 18 months, with plans to turn it into an Airbnb afterward.I'm thrilled about the opportunity, but I'm also new to this, and I want to make sure I'm well-prepared.
