When investing, are the earnest money losses for deals rejected and other fees (commitment fees, accountants fees, legal fees) deductible on your taxes?

Writing a rejected offer usually gets me more respect from my clients; than trying to save my clients (and myself) some type of embarrassment from being told no.

What changed is that you'll likely get rejected for way more offers, and will take a longer time to find one, but that's better than just waiting around.
