Is there some reason that you or the company simply don't discuss what happened and use this as an opportunity to turn a negative post into a positive one for the company?  

Well, a large number of our members are rental home/apartment investors but there's plenty of other RE opportunities out there. 

If you present them with the opportunity to partner, they may jump in with both feet.Two thoughts:1.

$1,500-$1,600 is about the going rate for a 2/2 in most average areas of BR, but I can see where some neighborhoods would get more.Another thing to think about - if the property is sitting vacant right now and you have ready and willing (and qualified) tenants, then the opportunity cost of waiting an extra month or two is $1,550/month.

I saw the potential to cash flow when the opportunity presented itself I jumped on it.

Your rate will be higher than current, but give you your cash out to use for future opportunities.

I find new lending opportunities by networking at local RE Meetups, Training Classes and real estate functions.
