It’s true, there's a certain reassurance in traditional, in-person closings where you can see all parties and the attorney right there.Still, virtual closings are generally secure and are backed by robust technology for identity verification, which should ease some worries.

Wire fraud, identity theft, fake sellers, fake buyers stealing things from listings… all these things are common these days and agents always get named in the resulting law suits because they carry E&O insurance.

-I wouldn't look for single-family rentals in the Twin Cities in this market unless you find a steal or an owner-financed deal.

Yet, invariably, a few months ago, they come up with an almost identical deal.

I want to make sure that this is not some sort of scam where someone could steal my title or information.

And again this is where you have to go back to the intent of the legislation, it wasn’t to have more double closing’s, it was to stop shady individuals from stealing equity from old people, and agian just because you can maybe find a loophole in the law doesn’t mean a judge or jury is gonna interpret that way.The terms I am using are totally irrelevant to the law?
