As a young adult, I began my own business socked away money for my future (though I saved for med school and had no idea I wanted to invest til later on).Since they are already college-age and have summer-only employment and are looking to invest in the near future, they either need to save money working more hours; forego instant-gratification luxuries (like dining out/new phones/new clothes); or wait a bit longer to invest.

The physical and sexual abuses were beyond belief, and no one seemed to care because I was the mentally retarded, spazzy loser with no way to communicate, and most likely no one who would have cared if I could.I was told that my son would never walk or talk-and that is BEFORE he got sick- and he now, at 20 years old, owns his own home free and clear, teaches extremely basic code to Autistic children[ actually learning with them, not the sterotypical IT Autistic],is working on the third book in a fantasy adventure trilogy he is writing, has cleared most of the trails in the location that will one day be THE Autistic retreat center of the world, and he has already been approached about management there.

I don't charge and I feel that the more info I give them the more it will influence responses, so this is what I use on page 1 of the application:Our Criteria:We do not deny housing for race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, sexual orientation, marital status, or familial status.We do deny housing to individuals: when the application is not complete or accurate where there is no sufficient income/resources to pay rent and livewhere there is poor prior tenancy: evictions, violations, damage to rental property, poorly handled move outs, amounts are still owing to landlords or utilities.Criminal activity is at our discretion depending on severity, number of convictions, and how long ago.Our Philosophy:We strive to provide affordable, clean, and safe housing, be fair with repairs, and improve the Highlands neighborhood.
