Required distros for tax consequence.At the same time I kinda snicker a bit since the buyer... the investor... thinks they found the next Apple or Tesla investment (and they are clearly the smartest in the room), and then go off the rails when it all goes south, I can't help but shake my head and have a small giggle.A fool and their money soon go separate ways, Yes, but don't you wonder how they got together in the first place?

Now there may become issues now with paying expenses for the investment because now that you own 10% of the property in your personal name, you would be responsible personally for 10% of the expenses of that investment.From my understanding, the need for depreciation is not needed because the IRA is in a tax-sheltered vehicle already, meaning you wouldn't be taxed on the property for selling.

When I listed concerns of flagrant lease violations, gone unchecked (derelict vehicles, unregistered large breed dogs who are not picked up after, garbage scattered out in the yard, piles of debris; old tires, tv, kitchen sink, broken wheel barrow, all sitting out in plain sight for a month or more), wash machine drain hose running out a window and draining into the lawn.

My insurance companies also inspect my properties and tell me I need to remove trees, fix gutters, they called out a roof for having lichen on it, hand railing in the middle of an open walkway that we needed to install (nothing there before).
