In my pursuit to get out of the shipping industry I obtained my real estate agent license in Maryland and am affiliated with Long & Foster.I am hoping to help investors find deals as well as residential home buyers and sellers fulfill their transactions and eventually build my real estate investment portfolio.

Umbrella policies are very cheap and cover your vehicles, your home, some professional pursuits and recreational vehicles in a secondary manner.

I've done it in 2003-2004 when there were less investors, from 2005-2007 when everyone and their uncle, brother and half sister were buying real estate, and in 2009-2012 when financing was scarce, buyers were few, and prices were falling.In this business (and any entrepreneurial pursuit), you can either make excuses or make money. 

This would include expired listings, as well as off market pursuits, such as direct mail, SEO and a web presence, lumpy mail, probate, and the like. 

I don't care for ignorance and greed governing the pursuit of commerce in things that are required in society, food, shelter, medical care, education, etc., no this isn't a political statement but more to social requirements.

In most pursuits having a bigger base will allow the greatest peak.

You will see this as you progress in your landlording pursuits.

Banks, credit unions, mortgage comapnies, hard money lenders, so called private money lenders, and business lenders.Had my credit run over 30 times all in the pursuit of financing.

I am thinking possible Sports Restaurant/Bar.I want to be wise in this pursuit.
