If you set up keywords for the areas you are interested in, as well as the topics you are interested in, you'll be notified of new posts.

One suggestion: people probably have their keywords set to Ypsilanti (not Ypsi) and Ann Arbor (not A2), so your message might not be reaching the full intended audience.
