@Jaycee Greene, I have to learn more about house hacking to take a deal like this. 

I’d rather not do a single family again until my third house - I’m getting married in January and would like to be able to rent it without house hacking :).

i also had HVAC mystery issues in my first duplex when we house hacked it.Regarding the Daikin Mini Split - I have one in the 3rd story of my current home and it seems to work great for us. 

If you’re just starting or want to minimize risk, house hacking is a killer move—grab a duplex, live in one unit, rent the other, and let it pay down your mortgage while you scale up.

I own a mobile home that I rent out and I am looking to make my first MFH purchase this upcoming year to house hack. 

I invest in Richmond as well, through house-hacking and BRRRRs primarily!

After 20 years in real estate and working with a lot of military investors, I can say house hacking is a great fit for you.

If you are house hacking ask about house hacking, OOS ask about OOS, etc. etc.

Looking to do my first house hack, along with getting into more buy and holds.

Being a military member house hacking is the easiest way but I’m also open to learning new methods and if at all possible learning from others’ mistakes.
