DTI means Debt To Income - it is just a fraction - when the debt you have is increased further, that ratio is going to go up, not down.

The Escrow Agent clearly knows the default payments as he gets fraction of the loan interest every month as part of his compensation on top of the initial closing fees.However, the escrow agent did not do anything nor give me any advice on the Quit Claim recordation procedures.

I think a joint limit of say $600k makes more sense and would capture many more households (still a tiny fraction of the population). 

I don't know if I should buy the second property in Los Angeles or buy it in Bakersfield again for fraction of the price. 

Now, this guy probably does get involved in Fractional Reserve Banking like he claims...because he's so wealthy he can.  

If they do not set the proper expectations on the front end, the investor will not be prepared for lean years when those properties return a fraction of what was expected.  

Don't be afraid to hire others that may be able to get the work done in a fraction of the time if it is not your area of expertise.
