Landlords, you saved up money penny by penny, lived below your means, refused to buy stuff that wasn't essential, and decided to forgo things like vacations and nice cars in order to invest in your future.

I wrote my rationalization for going through with the deal on the comment above.

@John Morris I’m normally one for going after a tenant that stiffs a landlord on money that’s owed to them.

because it's their reserves their rules, when we say 'reserves' lets be honest it $ that LL's have saved up forgoing to buy the latest and greatest and even avoiding to splurge on their own kids... so the LL's reserves from sacrifice, their rules on how or if they will use it and if the do use it... consider it a courtesy.
