We need to dwell into the particular circumstances surrounding the investment to determine whether the behavior of the "advisor" was ethical or unethical, competent or incompetent, legal or illegal.so we need to ascertain(1) the risk of the investment.  9 out of 10 venture capital investments fail.  

You may want to switch to a vacant dwelling policy if it will be unoccupied longer than the limit (ie. 30 days, 60 days, ...)The other advise I would give is see what other uses the house is zoned for.  

If so, that will be insured normally under a Dwelling Fire policy. 

Even then I keep my ears to the ground because a good guy can go bad due to human problems.

This means you can rent out a room in your place while you also stay there, you can rent out you entire place while on vacation, or you can rent out a basement or attic unit or an accessory dwelling unit (carriage house).

That’s more than simply posting an ad on Zillow, but having a sales funnel that will allow you to filter out that junk spam and ask people the clarifying questions that will implicitly confirm they are human beings with a heartbeat and income to pay for your rental.
