Well you'd actually be netting more in the long run by doing so compared to putting it towards the home.

You have to sell, you over leveraged, but the property has dropped in value, no lender will lend to you and you have to bring money into closing to sell the property, but you don’t have the money.

The laws mostly protect me the lender and I have always gotten paid even if there are occasional borrower problems.

My understanding is that although it can work, these types of legal agreements have big downsides compared to sub to.

My cash to close was 62k because of construction holdback from lender.
