Theres a lot of HELOC threads, quick q: condo from 150k now is around 220k, second home, BoA seems to offer HELOC for it, could potentially take out 50-60k at 5-6% interest, first 12 months lower interest.

I personally havent dealt with bank of america, but I would ask what their terms are and then shop around to different banks - big (BOA, TD, ETC) and small (local credit unions) and see what works best for you!

Yesterday I asked Bank of America about their Heloc rates (current Heloc is with Chase) and the Relationship Banker told me BOA can refinance the Heloc and will write a check out to Chase for the open balance of $35k.

When we got a physician loan for our home purchase, BOA was very clear that this was only eligible for SFR that are owner-occupied.So I guess you could use it to acquire more SFR's if you're willing to move from house to house.
