@Alessandra Verbena I can't speak to the Tulsa STR market, but I can tell you that tourism is not the only draw for people who use STR's.

If you want to make a mind shift, actively choose to see the world for more than a nice pad and a useless carbon fiber wings on a car that will probably never be on a track.To fight the millions of Instagram posts and heavy marking in mass media that try to drive me toward useless consumer spending, I try to keep my mind and desires in check by getting a does of reality.Last year I took several weeks to motorcycle through Vietnam and took donations to several orphanages.

It has experienced a massive foreign investment and tourism boom, which shows no sign of decelerating.

Occupancy Curve - How many people come here during the course of the year for tourism?

A few noteworthy folks like George Gammon have been trodding the path and making it less unknown and scary to the mainstream and that is surely part of the equation.This is not unlike what happened 20 years ago with US tourism to Costa Rica. 

.* City Council is considering foolish anti-short-term-rental legislation that would be a major blow to the city's tourism-dependent economy (yeah I'm biased as an owner of an STR management company)All that being said, I still think Cleveland is a fantastic place for real estate investment.

With things this year, there aren't as many employed there which obviously hurts the rental markets.With the strong tourism here, once things get closer to being normal in the world, the rentals will bounce back. 

And of course the demand for Disney/Orlando tourism is massive, especially now that travel restrictions are lifting.

A major development has been the hotel building boom which was a necessary requirement for convention tourism to return in force to the city.
