One of my units has refinished hardwood flooring in the living room, so I will not allow someone renting that unit to have a dog.

For example, if you buy an upstairs unit, and you prefer hardwood flooring, the HOA may put a kibash on it because it's written in their CC&Rs that this is a no-no - due diligence when reading those.  

Dog claws regardless of the size of the dog will destroy hard wood floors.

I also recently redid the hardwoods and am trying to keep them pretty for qualified tenants!

I recently renovated one of our units top to bottom and it had nice hardwood floors in the LR and DR.

My thought was replace any carpet with inexpensive engineered hardwood, make sure the place is well painted, and slap some epoxy on the basement / garage floor and be done with it.

We only have some work left in the bathroom (new tile, vanity, toilet), replacing a few light fixtures and cleaning up the hardwood floors.

There is no saving this so I am just going to have to replace the entire door, which means the cost of installing a new prehung interior door.On the other hand, the front door, which is a solid core hardwood door, the bottom has been clawed and clawed. 

The house has been recently renovated/ freshly painted/ has beautiful refinished hardwood floors/ stainless steel appliances/ etc...

We ripped up the disgusting carpet and refinished the hardwood floors with a dark stain.I got a large pedestal sink with faucet for free, so that went into the bathroom.
