So far when I put the counter-top depth fridge (normally $1699) in the cart and check out online I am getting $1363 + 109 tax for a total of $1473.Is there something I'm missing?

Typically the plumbing will have some issues, door and window frames may shift, cabinets and countertops may shift, cracks may develop in walls, etc, etc, etc.

While searching for properties I personally always take into account my BAH rate to ensure my mortgage is well below that, what would the property rent for today if I had to move short notice (or deploy), and what value can I add to it over time (electric garage, upgrade kitchen appliances and countertop, new flooring, improve landscaping, new paint).

We just replaced the kitchen cabinets and countertops in one unit- we went from plywood cabinets with laminate doors that were falling apart to the Project Source brand unfinished cabinets from Lowes which have solid wood doors.
