With a second luxury theater taking over the old Cinemark theater, huge amounts of apartments going in and a vacant building with potential to be a huge commerce center (Bourbon Square), I believe the area is destined to have a huge revitalization. 

So I was cruising the MLS and came accross a house being sold as part of an estate sale.

I also had to paid penalty when the money for a transaction did not reach its destination on time after they were slow to send it and sent the wrong amount.Stay away from them

Dewey and Rehobeth are probably better for STR, because Rehobeth has turned into more of a year round destination, with plenty of full time residents in the area. 

It is one of the ends of the highway here - so often people find it as a road trip destination - but mostly it is the amazing Katchemak Bay (deep ocean!)

I choose this home although not in a large tourist destination, it is the right size city for me to enjoy when I'm ready to stay there more full time.

I think STR's work well for 'destination points' or theme-based venues.

Less popular as compared to cities like Nashville, Destin, Clearwater, etc... where I am also looking.

I have exclusively invested in Destin and Fort Walton Beach to date.

I am not that familiar with the area, however after doing some market research I see the Fort Walton Beach/Destin area as a good one to start.
