A few questions:Am I able to expense or depreciate any of the existing furniture? 

Reason I ask is because some have under comments that they only have furniture out side the house or a salvage vehicle parked.

It was a furniture store. 17,500 square feet inside, .57 acre lot, parking right in front, but not in back so not ideal for a supermarket unless interested in buying the lot across the street (traffic study required).

This is not necessarily an arbitrage call but could also be a company seeing if you're interested in upping your returns on the property, by purchasing furniture and having a STR that they would manage for you.

You should also have people on your boots on the ground team to accomplish small tasks that we call "runner tasks" things like restocking, building furniture, bringing boxes into storage, ect.

The property was fully homestaged, which is not very common here in Valencia Spain, and the buyers even purchased the furniture.

Technically not even the furniture has value from the appraisal standpoint.
