In this situation, I'm going to find out if I'm right or wrong about who has good character and if I'm right or wrong about how people of good character will respond when they have an opportunity to take advantage of the situation and refuse to pay rent because evictions are not allowed.For my people that are unemployed, due to the virus and claiming inability to pay (or pay in full), I'll need proof but I"ll work with them.I **sincerely** hope that I'm not wrong about most people.

But, for the units I managed, I sincerely doubt that any of them would try to stay and not pay. 

If you want to make them happy and keep them as tenants, you might offer even more, and be sincere with your understanding of their situation and give them a real apology.Buy the Nolo Press books on landlording.

@Alissa EngelI don’t think she is Targeting military,  and I respect her for putting the question out there sincerely but  I think her plan prioritizes her own gain at the expense of a military member in active service to the country. 

At the end of the day, I sincerely wish Paul the best of luck in his investing business and hope to part ways as friends.
