Tough to say.If the area is "C" level anyway, I think the train station can contribute to an industrial feel so it detracts.But if it's a "B" area or better, even right up to the train station, and the train station itself is kept up nicely (not accumulating litter, for example), then it can work fine.If you have 1 BR or 2BR units you'll probably be fine renting to childless commuters.
