There were grain shortage riots in ancient Rome, inflation riots in Argentina in the late '90s (and of course the ongoing problems in Greece).

Prices are wacko in D/FW right now due to labor shortages in pretty much all skilled trades.

As a state capitol, with OSU graduating 6000+ students a year and with the tax incentives that are bringing new business to Columbus, there is no shortage of need for multifamily housing.  

There is always risk; other than the zoning, risk in this case is pretty much nil as there is a shortage of quality rentals in the area. 

With the housing shortages in some cities I don't know if that will continue, but that's what happened.

This can be done in any area that is experiencing a housing shortage.
