One major difference in general observation is I think Baltimore still has many blocks of vacant abandon properties (15000+) and that is something you will just never see or experience in LA.

Adding observations and conclusions: The west side of the island (roughly Guánica to Aguadilla, encompassing key towns such as Cabo Rojo and Rincón) is down maybe 25-35% in tourism-related activity (Airbnb, internal travelers), and at least 2 hotels are still closed or mostly closed.

Observing how other local sites are managed will show you the minimum level of service you can offer - I believe that it's a good strategy to build a site nicer than what currently exists in the market with better service, and charge a premium price for it.

And just based on anecdotal observation (I get regular email updates from two agents there) it seems the $80-$120k price point homes tend to still sit for a while and then go in and out of escrow way more than I would expect them to.

That our monetary system is not backed by anything with actual value like it used to be when it was backed by gold and silver in the early 70s.I agree with your observation about fiat money.
