I painted the walk-in closet Quail Ridge (it could have been Merino as well and would have looked nice - perhaps nicer in that color).Everyone who saw either unit commented on the paint job and colors - for landlords who only paint their units some form of white - they're making a mistake as it's boring and sterile-looking.

I could get away with a kitchenette and bathroom install, then could just frame out a bedroom and closet when I want to convert to a fifth unit.Has anyone had experience in renting out a common area like this — does it seem to generate income without causing too much extra headaches?

We bought our house this past December and did a decent size renovations (removing walls, coat closets, all new paint, hardwood floor throughout the house, painting trim).

With the talk of the Spurs wanting to move to a new arena downtown, it feels as though some of the air has gone out of the neighborhoods closet to the the stadium. 

We renovated the kitchen and bathrooms, painted throughout, and added a closet to a room that previously didn't have one.

My home is 4 bedrooms but there is another room that is basically a bedroom without a closet.

Currently the rear of the garden unit is divided up by walls to create a furnace room somewhat in the middle of it, and a second closet-type room to access the furnace room.

It just bothers me to not use this space to improve the house with bigger rooms, some closets and possibly a new half bath.
