The previous time we had Chaz, one of his desk managers, myself and my 2 partners on a conference call all agreeing to purchase 3 assets which Granite agreed to our offer price.

@Bob Malecki - I of course agree you can do both, I was more referring to individuals who give a token effort into notes then quickly change “careers” and FOMO and chasing the next hot thing.You and Martin have been doing this a lot longer than I have. my question which you would be better to answer is what percentage of people have you met at conferences or have been trained by some of the well known investors actually stick with it ?  

LOL I went to a business conference NAC18 for Tony Robbins and Gary V.

I recently attended the IMN note conference last month and a panel of fairly large fund managers agreed that there is at least 5 and probably 10 years of distressed debt liquidation in store for us investors, so my partners and I are taking advantage of the opportunity while this window is open.

What I tell people is; whether you spend $15 on one book, $800 on a conference, or 1 hour of time on a podcast, just expect to get one piece of information that you can really put into use.
